What should a dental aligner packaging kit include?

By BLF Packaging · Published · Updated

Start a dental aligner packaging kit with a measured component list: aligner case, instruction cards and any individually packed accessories. Then choose an outer paper box and insert that keep those items organized and easy to remove. The right kit contents come from the buyer's product program; this guide does not prescribe clinical accessories or establish medical, sterile or hygiene performance.

Match the opening to the kit

A drawer opens sideways and needs clearance to slide out; a magnetic lid opens from one edge; a lid-and-base box separates into two pieces. Compare these movements with where the kit will be opened and how often the contents need to be accessed.

Paperboard trays and dividers can be reviewed as paper-based options. EVA, foam and other non-paper accessories are confirmed case by case based on product fit, export requirements and supplier availability.

Test a complete kit in the sample, including cards and individually packed accessories. An empty insert photograph cannot establish that the finished contents fit or stay in place.

Keep packaging approval specific

  • Confirm the current component sizes and label or card versions.
  • Review legibility, handling and retrieval with the assembled sample.
  • State any product or market documentation requirements separately for review.
  • Keep the approved layout and artwork version available for repeat-order discussions.
