SBS Paper

A common paper option for clean printing, retail boxes and premium paper wrapping.

Best for

  • Cosmetic packaging
  • Retail gift boxes
  • Beauty PR packages

Buyer notes

  • Good for clean print surfaces
  • Final choice depends on structure and finish

Greyboard

A rigid board material used for premium setup boxes and strong gift packaging structures.

Best for

  • Rigid gift boxes
  • Magnetic boxes
  • Lid and base boxes

Buyer notes

  • Board thickness affects strength and cost
  • Useful for premium unboxing

Kraft Paper

A natural-looking paper option for simple, tactile paper-packaging styles.

Best for

  • Mailer boxes
  • Paper bags
  • Natural product packaging

Buyer notes

  • Color consistency should be confirmed by sample
  • Works best with restrained printing

Specialty Paper

Textured or decorative paper for premium gift packaging and high-end presentation.

Best for

  • Jewelry packaging
  • Fragrance boxes
  • Corporate gifts

Buyer notes

  • Availability should be confirmed early
  • Sampling is important for texture and color

Compare the material's role before its appearance

Start with the contents, box construction and handling needs, then choose the printed or wrapped surface. Structural board and decorative paper do different jobs, so a paper name alone is not a complete specification.

Confirm the complete material specification

  • State the box structure and which component each paper or board belongs to.
  • Use a sample to review color, texture, stiffness, folding and the chosen finish combination.
  • If documentation is required, name the exact material and requirement before order review.
  • Treat paper color and texture as appearance choices; they do not establish an environmental or certification claim.

Material choice should be sampled

Color, texture, stiffness and finish behavior should be confirmed before bulk production.
